well. sometimes the night just turns out better than expected. and the nice thing about this particular night was that it was expected to be good anyway.

andy eppler
joe morrow
josh rosenthal

age of anxiety (and a free cd to boot)

charlie rapier (covered elton john & david gray)

great night for music. hung out with some new people and really enjoyed myself.

the three guys did a great job at the coffee place. you know the one.
age of anxiety, from what i know (and that ain't much), is a bunch of guys who aren't a band and are one. some live in the LBB, and some live elsewhere in the states. they fly around to each other's towns and get together and just make music. synth, acoustic, violin, electric, and a guy with a really good voice. they played in a warehouse in an industrial part of town. one of them lives there. it almost nothing in it besides a fridge, sink, a couple of couches, some makeshift bookshelves, and some rather large pieces of sculpture. don't ask me to describe them, i couldn't.
charlie rapier is from dallas and has a really great voice. everything he sang was dead on. everything.

and the best part of the evening. i spent a total of $2 for a Jones soda at the coffee house. free Burger King included.

nice.
