well. i'm tired, nothing new right? atleast this time I have a good reason.

my little sister got married yesterday. i got there around 11am on friday and immediately set to work on gaining patience. mom was a little stressed...which is to be expected as it was the first of her youngn's to be hitched. Family began pouring in around noon and we set to work at the church around 4pm that afternoon. i got it coming and going since i was a groomsman and also a member of the family. taking care of relatives, while also participating in all the wedding party duties at the same time trying to help the ladies tie down all the loose ends. i have to say that i took orders pretty well. i don't know if that is a good thing or not yet.

anyway, the thing went pretty well - a few minor glitches here and there that most people probably didn't notice and it was over. of course the cleanup wasn't over for three hours after the ceremony but whatev. they took off and we went home and tried to find food that didn't contain sugar. it was more difficult than it should have been, but we won through with some new york subway. an old denton haunt of mine. in the words of father hoover...it was gude. i spent alot of time getting to know my uncle. it is weird to grow up and become friends with people you have always looked up at. it really is. i hope i am doing it well is all i can say.

we caught the bourne supremacy late show and enjoyed it. fought to stay awake as we plowed through traffic on 35 and finally reaching the place to lay down and sleep. sleep was good. missing church was not. i think it got my dad a little upset. but i did catch up with them at on the border and got some good advice from one uncle on the fire dept. and thoughts on books from another. all in all, it went well. conversation with dad was good when we had the chance to talk. my cousin's daughter is beautiful and will only grow more so as she grows older. of this, i have no doubts. she was on a sugar high from the afternoon, and proceeded to bounce all over the house. my little ponies and pirouette's aside, she crashed out around 9:30pm. that chick has spunk and don't mind showing it. she was cute. (yes, i did use the word cute...and i don't care what you think of it.)

plane ride back was pretty uneventful after the first plane was declared to be broken and another was towed around to us. blaine picked me up and about 15 people or so came over this evening, interrupting my viewing of van helsing for a short while, but whatev. it happens. i'm pretty beat but wanted to get some kind of update going on since your little sis' only gets married once in life (hopefully:). hope your weekends went well. g'night.
