ok cool stuff that has already happened this morning:
1. I am bored at work again, and so I post.
2. You know how on TV, a person will be walking along a sidewalk on a wet day and you see a car coming and you just know that the car is going to splash mud and water on the person. Well, today was wet. I was walking up to the building I work in. But there was no car. Oh no, I don't need no stinking car. I splashed mud on myself. Just ho-humming along...... and squish....mud splatters from under my right foot onto my left leg. We're talking from my toe to my knee, right up the front of my leg. sweetness. And so my day begins.
3. Some interesting BURP acronyms for you folks:
a) Basically Unemployed Reserve Puke (reservist who makes a living by taking reserve assignments)
b) Big Ugly Rock Piece (Lego slang)
c) Brandeis University Recycling Program
d) Brewers United for Real Potables (homebrewing club)
4. I realize I told my sister that I wanted the Radiohead album for my birthday, and now must wait until she finds time to get it and mail it to me. The agony of waiting to hear this thing is going to kill me, I know it. (ok, so maybe that's not so cool, but it's pertinent)
5. Explosions in the Sky is only one day away. And the place they are playing in, well.....let's just say this: the entrance is in the alley. how cool is that? and yes is the answer to the question in your mind right now, i am the biggest dork you have ever known for getting excited about an alley entrance. I could try and play it cool, like it's no big deal, but then, where's the fun in that?
