i have had a couple of really stupid days. the cd player in my car wore out tuesday night. the stupid thing won't accept cd's anymore. luckily i figured out how to get the radio to turn back on, but music selection in lubbock is, shall we say, not primo. i guess i should have expected the cd player to crap out on me when you consider that i usually have atleast 100 cd's with me at all times.

sometime yestereday or the same night the cd player gave up, i lost my wallet. i have searched and and searched but that sucker is just not showing up. so today, i get the unenviable task of cancelling credit cards and the like. woohoo...

to top things off, i had another really great night last night (drippingly sarcastic). suffice to say that life is just not being my friend. she is being an evil headmistress ensuring that i learn certain lessons whether or not i want to. so yeah, i am really looking forward to getting out of town next weekend and being able to relax. this place wears in on you sometimes. it just does.

all i know is that if you can't beat life, the least you can do is wear out your cd player trying to make it a more grand thing than it is. grand.
