Well, I was up until 5a reading last night. I was tired all day and kept myself from dozing off several times earlier this evening to make sure I would sleep well tonight. Then I made the mistake of reading a little right before turning the lights off. No my mind is amped up and I can't make my eyeballs stay still. This is annoying.
After digesting the movies I listed in the previous post, I can make one or two recommendations.
The Edukators
First time in a long time I have wanted to pay attention to anything of a political nature that isn't in a bubble.
A Prairie Home Companion
I wished I had watched the extras on the DVD first because I was completely befuddled by this thing for its entirety. The Extras shed enough light that it was worth the time just for the experience.
Gangs of New York
Couldn't tell you why I liked it. I could give you a list of why I shouldn't, but there it is anyway.
If you want to see an entertaining French Action movie, check out District B19. Action sequences are pretty great.
